INSPIRED BY LIFE
Zelda’s Daughters tells the story of my biological mother, Zelda Weiner, my disabled twin sister Alison Schlesinger (Arielle), and me (Hallie). Zelda’s Daughters has spiritual and inspirational undertones and, for purposes of reference, is similar in style and theme to Sophie’s Choice, by William Styron; I Know this Much is True, by Wally Lamb; and The Memory Keeper’s Daughter, by Kim Edwards.
